Multiple studies have shown that having access to fewer toys encourages more creative and imaginative play and can increase a child’s attention span. Similar to the Montessori toy rotation, both Emily and I try to do a toddler toy rotation every few weeks to keep things fresh and give each of our son’s the opportunity to really explore their toys.
