This post is always one of my favorites to write because now three years ago (I CAN NOT believe that) I wrote my first post for this blog about Sensory Friendly Easter Basket. Over the last few years, we have continued to curate a list of Creative Easter Basket Ideas including toys and products that we get for our kids Easter Baskets that AREN’T candy. Now that Katie and I both have two Easter baskets to stuff we get to have even more fun.

This Holiday more than any other seems to be focused on candy and sweets, and while I am a firm believer in everything in moderation (trust me I love a good Reeses Egg), I still prioritize Easter basket stuffers that my kids can use for more than one day and won’t leave them with a sugar high.

Check out our top picks are this year for the best items to fill your baby’s Easter Basket

Personalized Peep

My kiddos LOVE any kind of "stuffie", E's bed is full of at least 5 stuffed animals every night, and Rea loves to carry around her "babies". So when I saw these adorable personalized from Mitten Littles Shop I knew they would be perfect for Easter.

E has recently learned to recogize his name, so I can't wait for him to see it on Easter morning.

Bubble Toys

Now that Spring is here and the weather is begining to warm up I try and find items for thier Easter Basket that we can play with outside. Both of my toddlers are obsessed with bubbles, so I found a bubble toy that each of them would love.

E got a Bubble Blaster to "pew" all the bad guys and Rea got a Starberry Bubble Machine that will create hundreds of bubbles she can chase around.

Stomp Rocket

Another outdoor toy, this is one of my favorite toys to use at the pediatric clinic and it has been on my list to get for my kiddos for awhile. Stomp Rockets will keep any little busy for hours. They get to stomp of jump on the pedal to send the rockets soaring into the air, and then they can run around chasing them, trying to catch them before they hit the ground.

Pro Tip: Make sure you keep your stomp rocket launcer away from your house, or you will spend your afternoon climbing onto your roof to retrieve rockets.

Don’t Push the Button: An Easter Surprise

This one was a specific request from my toddler. Both of my kids absoluetly love Bill Cotter's "Don't Push the Button" series. We have the original, the Christmas and Halloween version. My daughter recently brought the orinigal off of the bookshelf and I heard my son playfully yelling "no don't touch it" while his sister was laughing hystericly. That night he told me that he hoped we could get an Easter button book like our other two.

This was a simple request to fill, I ordered "Don't Push the Button: Easter Surprise" and I can't wait to hear the giggles when we read it.

Rain Jacket and Umbrella

This is a little family tradition, every Easter I include something for the kiddos to prep them for the upcoming "spring showers". This year I found an adorable floral rain coat for Rea that I couldn't resist.

I also found tiny umbrellas for each of them. While I'm sure I will have to make sure these don't quickly turn into weapons, I can't wait to see how cute they look carrying thier umbrellas and stomping through the puddles.

Bath Blocks/Toys

If you have followed along with our blog and seen any of our Stocking Stuffer posts you know that I am a sucker for a good bath toy. My kids will spend an hour playing in the bath if I let them, so I am always looking for fun things for them to play with.

Unfortunatly the previous animal bath toys that we had grew mold, so I decided to buy these silicone bath toys that can be taken apart and dried easily to ensure they don't mold.

E loves anything that he can use to build (magnatiles and legos are his current favorites) so when I found foam bath blocks I knew he would love them.

We hope that you found at least one item that will be the perfect gift for your childs Easter Basket. Is there anything were missing? Let us know whats going into your kiddos basket.
