Stocking Stuffers for Toddlers - 6 Of Our Top Picks!
It’s the (second) most wonderful time of the year! If you have followed our blog for long you know that I (Emily) am a fall/Halloween lover, and Katie is the one who loves Christmas. I like Christmas, but much preferred the spookier season until I had kids. Halloween is a fun holiday for kids, but there is something so magical about seeing Christmas through the eyes of your child. Christmas isn’t about the gifts but knowing that E understands it more makes me so excited for him to open his gifts, especially the stocking stuffers for toddlers we picked out!
Since E recently turned three, this seems to be the first year that he really “gets” it. He has been so excited about every holiday tradition - from cutting down the tree to hanging the stockings and adding ornaments to the tree.
He has been particularly fascinated by his stocking this year. Every morning during breakfast we go over whose stocking is whose and “the rules”. Stocking must stay on hooks until Christmas morning! With how excited he is about his stocking I knew I wanted to find some great items to fill up his stocking, but as always I want to find things that are cost-effective, will be used more than once, and are sensory-friendly or educational.
Here is our 2023 list of the best stocking stuffers for toddlers that we know your kid(s) will love!

Glo Pals
If your kiddo loves bath time or playing at their water table, these cool glowing cubes are a must have! We discovered them when shopping for R's birthday and when Katie told us how much fun he had with them I knew I needed to get some for E and Rea's stockings. Glo Pals light up when they get wet and turn off when they dry. These come in lots of fun colors, so you can get your kiddos favorite or they recently released a Christmas themed Pal thats perfect for stockings!
Feelings Magnets
This is probably one of my favorite ideas every for stocking stuffers for toddlers. If you have a toddler at home, you know that they have some BIG feelings and these feelings can be hard to identify or talk about for such little people. My son saw these feelings magnets at our neighbors house and was instantly drawn to them. I can't wait for him to open them and help him put words to his big emotions.
Chunky Wooden Christmas Puzzles
I love buying things for my kiddos that I know will last for years to come. Katie stumbled onto this chunky wooden gingerbread puzzle at hobby lobby and knew she had to grab one for R and for E. Our boys love puzzles and this is the perfect addition to his stocking and then the basket of Christmas books and toys that I pull out annually every December!
If you can't find one at your local Hobby Lobby check out these similar puzzles on Amazon. Prefer a puzzle you can bring out all year round? This set of beginner Animal puzzles is a great option
Temporary Tattoos
Our boys are obsessed with temporary tattoos right now and they are one of the easiest toddler stocking stuffers! They were the hit of E's recent Star Wars birthday party, so when I saw these Christmas tattoos I knew they would be the perfect addition to his stocking.
Itzy Ritzy Christmas Tree Popper
Last year we listed the Dimpl as a stocking stuffer and even though I thought of this more as "baby toy," my toddler still plays with it! So when I saw the Itzy Ritzy popper that looks like a Christmas tree I knew it would be the perfect addition to Rea's stocking. Great for teething, great for sensory play, great for keeping them entertained in the car. Its a win, win, win!
I knew they would be the perfect addition to his stocking.
Krazy Straws
Who doesn't love a crazy straw?! Even as an adult I think drinking anything through a bendy straw makes any drink taste better and my toddlers definitely agree! What better way to drink your Christmas morning milk or hot chocolate than through one of these Christmas Krazy Straws
Let us know if you end up grabbing any of these stocking stuffers and if your kiddos loved them!
